Roy Speake killed Stephen Hince 4 after he indecently assaulted him.
After the assault the boy threatened to tell his father so Roy Speake half strangled him and then beat him to death with a brick.
He was convicted of manslaughter and sentenced to life imprisonment.
In 1974 Roy Speake and David Cheeseman were convicted of the attempted murder of a male nurse at Rampton Hospital who they hit over the head with an iron bar.
