David Mitchell murdered his ex-girlfriend Kathleen McKenzie in 1991 who he tied up and drowned in the bath after he found out she was seeing someone else. After he hid her body in the cellar.
Kathleen McKenzie had previously left David Mitchell to live in a womens refuge but had returned home to be murdered.
In December 2012 David Mitchell murdered his homosexual lover Robert Hind 46 whose body was later found in the River Colne in Milnsbridge, Huddersfield. The last sighting of Robert Hind was with David Mitchell at Huddersfield bus station on 11 December 2012. Robert Hind died from head injuries and strangulation. He killed him in a drunken rage and then dismembered his body and dumped the parts in plastic bags in a canal near his home.
Robert Hind was a convicted sex offender who was on licence himself from prison.
