Michael Parr was first convicted for attempted murder in 2003 when he attempted to smother a fellow patient.
On 1 October 2011 Michael Parr and Nathan Mann murdered Mitchell Harrison at Frankland Prison in Durham.
Mitchell Harrison was a convicted paedophile and child rapist having raped a 13 year old girl for which he was serving an indefinite sentence. They tortured and disembowelled him and had planned to eat his liver but couldnt do it.
They lured Mitchell Harrison into Nathan Mann's cell where they cut his throat with a makeshift scalpel made from a razor on a plastic utensil. They also stabbed him in the eye with a pen. After he was dead they cut open his stomach and disemboweled him.
