Meshaq Berryman was convicted of the attempted murder of three people.
He shot at them at a funeral for Akeem Bailey who was stabbed to death earlier in a row over a phone.
He fired four shots at the mourners from the back of a stolen Nissan Qashqai after which the car sped off towards Hamstead Road.
Two 19-year-olds were shot were shot, one in the chest and the other in the left foot, whilst an 18-year-old was shot in the right knee. A 14-year-old girl was also injured when the fleeing mourners knocked her down and trampled over her.
The Nissan Qashqai was later found abandoned two miles away in Little Francis Grove, Nechells.
The court heard that Meshaq Berryman had thought that rival gang members would be at the wake, even though it was said that Akeem Bailey had no links to gangs.
