Patrick McCann was convicted of the manslaughter of Frank Russell.
Frank Russel was also known as Rocky Russell and had been a betting tout with a reputation of being a very violent man.
Frank Russell first assault Patrick McCann who then went to his locker in a lodging house at 40 Eagle Street, Holborn, and killed Frank Russell with it on 1 April 1921.
