Ernest Weber and Adam Tolwinski were convicted of the murder of 44-year-old Dariusz Michalowski.
Dariusz Michalowski disappeared from his home in Birkby, West Yorkshire on 13 March 2011.
His body was been found by the police in a field in Mixenden, Calderdale, about two miles away from Huddersfield, on 17 December 2020. The police described his remains as having been found 'dumped in a field'.
Dariusz Michalowski had reported being attacked a month before he disappeared in February 2011.
He had come to the UK for work and had a wife and child in Poland with whom he was in regular contact.
He was last seen on Sunday 13 March 2011 at his home on Macaulay Road at about 2.30pm.
His passport was found at his home.
He had been doing temporary jobs including gardening and labouring and had recently been working at the Nostell Priory estate near Wakefield as a gardener.
