Andrew McLeod was convicted of the murder of John Dalziel 47.
He had previously been convicted of the culpable homicide of Scott McMinn 37, who he killed in October 2004.
John Dalziel
He slashed John Dalziel with a broken plate and then set fire to his home in Paisley in May 2021. John Dalziel died later in hospital.
He was convicted of murder and sentenced to 20 years.
Scott McMinn
Andrew McLeod and Scott McMinn had been friends but had a row over a £1.50 debt during which he hit him over the head multiple times. He then put his body in a wheelie bin and with the help of two other people dumped it in an underground pit.
His body was found five months later.
Andrew McLeod was convicted of culpable homicide and sentenced to nine years in January 2006.
