Matthew Plimmer caused the death of Jessica Drury 25 by careless driving.
He had a previous conviction for causing the death of a teenage passenger in his car in Hertfordshire in 2006.

Matthew Plimmer had been driving whilst disqualified and uninsured when he hit Jessica Drury's car in Southwell Road, Oxton on 19 January 2022.
After the crash he claimed that another man had been driving but that he had run off, however, DNA evidence showed that he was the driver.
