Paul McCann and Mark Moncrieff were convicted of the murder of Brian Boyle 56.
Brian Boyle had gone out into the street after he heard his daughters car being vandalised to find her being threatened by Paul McCann, Mark Moncrieff and a woman. He then got between the group and his daughter bt was attacked by Paul McCann and Mark Moncrieff and hit with a hammer and stabbed.
The woman was also tried for murder but a verdict of not proven was returned against her.
After the trial it was revealed that Mark Moncrieff had a previous convcition for attempted murder from 2004.
