Lukasz Orywal and Andy Hurns were convicted of causing the death of Aneta Zdeb by dangerous driving.
Andy Hurns was later convicted of the attempted murder of a woman in 2022.
Lukasz Orywal had driving a Chrysler Voyager van towing an unroadworthy Vauxhall Movano van with a makeshift tow-bar which came apart. When the two vehicles separated, the van that Lukasz Orywal and Andy Hurns were in hit the car that Aneta Zdeb was in.
The tow-bar had been made from a farm jack.
They were initially jailed for three years and nine months each but later had their sentences reduced to three years and four months.
They were both sentenced to three years and nine months.
Andy Hurns was convicted of the attempted murder of a 58-year-old woman on 21 February 2022 and sentenced to 21 years.
He attacked her in her home in in November 2020 after forcing his way in and kicked her head like it was a football whilst wearing steel toe-capped shoes.
The police were called and Andy Hurns escaped from an upstairs window.
He was later arrested after having a shower and putting his clothes into a washing machine.
He claimed that he had been too drunk to remember what had happened.
