Anthony Regan was convicted of the murder of his wife Florence Regan 39.
In 1951 he was convicted of the manslaughter of a 50 year old woman.
In 1950 he had been aquitted of murdering a 66 year old man.
Anthony Regan stabbed his wife to death and then hid her body in the house for 3 months until his step-daughter became suspiscious and told the police.
The court heard that he had been sleeping with his step-daughter and that the might be been part of the motive. A charge of incest was not proceeded with.
