James Clark and John Clark were convicted of killing Jason Bryden 39.
James Clark was convicted of murder.
John Clark was convicted of culpable homicide.
They had decided to rob Jason Bryden of a gold bracelet that they had given to him in exchange for some drugs.
They had been drinking and taking drugs and went to his home with their faces covered up with scarfs and armed with a knife and martial arts nunchucks but once in his home used a samurai sword that had belonged to Jason Bryden with which they severed three arteries.
James Clarkhad a previous conviction for attempted murder. He said 'I didn't mean it. It was an accident.' saying that he had only gotinvolved to protect his brother after Jason Bryden had attacked him.
