Levi Bellfield murdered Milly Dowler, Marsha McDonnell and Amelie Delagrange.
He was convicted of the murders of Marsha McDonnell and Amelie Delagrange in 2006 and the murder of Milly Dowler in 2011.
He was also convicted of another attempted murder.
In 2017 he was said to have confessed to the murders of Lin Russell 45 and her daughter Megan Russell 6 who were murdered in 1996 and for which Michael Stone was convicted for in 2001. He was said to have included details not known in the public domain in his confession. Michael Stone had always denied their murders. However, Levi Bellfield soon after denied making the confession and claimed that Michael Stone had paid him to say that he had murdered them.
