John Cooper was convicted of the murders of Richard Thomas 58, Helen Thomas 56, Peter Dixon 51 and Gwenda Dixon 52.
He shot Richard Thomas and his sister Helen Thomas at their home Scoveston Manor, near Milford Haven on 22 December 1985.
On 29 June 1989 he shot Peter Dixon and Gwenda Dixon while they were on holiday near Littlehaven Pembrokeshire.
