Rajinder Pall was initially convicted of the murder of Desraj Sharma 47 in January 1985 but he was aquitted later in 1985.
In September 1988 he killed Mohan Beri 60 who he drowned in a bath.
Desraj Sharma had been stamped on during a drinking session. After he had bleach and petrol poured down his throat and was left bleeding by a gas fire. Everyone of his ribs except one had been broken. He had severed bruising to his neck and had severe burns on his throat and his face had been baked by being so near to the gas fire.
Rajinder Pall and another man were tried for his murder but the other man was aquuitted. Rajinder Pall himself was convicted but had his conviction later quashed.
Mohan Beri had rented a room from Rajinder Pall in a house that was decribed as derelict in Median Road, Hackney. Mohan Beri was said to have been dirty and Rajinder Pall had invicted him back to his wife's flat in Clive House, Haddo Street, Greenwich for a drinking session where Rajinder Pall demanded he take a bath.
Mohan Beri hated taking bathes and said to Rajinder Pall's daughter 'You can give me a bath the day I die'. Rajinder Pall then dragged Mohan Beri into the bathroom and drowned him.
