David Ware was convicted of the attemted murer of a woman.
He was sent to Broadmoor where he later committed suicide.
He had also confessed to the murder of Olive Balchin for which Walter Graham Rowland was executed, having confessed before execution.
He was quoted as saying 'I don't know what is the matter with me. I keep having an urge to hit women on the head.'
