A Youth and Jovarn Esterine were convicted of killing 17-year-old Harleigh Hepworth.
The Youth was convicted of murder.
Jovarn Esterine was convicted of manslaughter.
They attacked him in West Park, Wolverhampton on 7 March 2024.
Harleigh Hepworth had been visiting Wolverhampton with a friend and had gone to the park with his friend to meet Jovarn Esterine and the Youth. However, once there, Jovarn Esterine and the Youth confronted them and the Youth stabbed Harleigh Hepworth in the chest.
Harleigh Hepworth then ran off but collapsed soon after and was found lying on the ground elsewhere in the park.
The court heard that as the Youth stabbed Harleigh Hepworth that Jovarn Esterine put his arm round his friend to stop him from intervening.
